Procedure
Storage procedure after cell isolation, culture, expansion, and quality testing. The cells are cryopreserved in nitrogen at -150°C through specialized and gradual processes that prevent thermal shock, stress and cell apoptosis; this guarantees up to 90% of cell viability post-thawing, and intact activity.
Cryopreservation
Cryopreservation is the method that uses low temperatures (down to -196°C) in order to preserve the structures of viable cells intact. Cells are cryopreserved to avoid losses due to temperature changes, to minimize the risk of genetic changes, and to decrease possible contamination.
Recommendations
Top Health recommends the storage of MTCs on crio-preservación for a period not exceeding 5 years.
Mesenchymal Stem Cells isolation (MSC) and cultivation is performed using GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) products and reagents completely free of animal components.
Stimulation of reparative processes in the body at the molecular level.
Potential to migrate to other cell lineages
Promote tissue healing through local secretion of cytokines and growth factors.
Contribute to the regeneration of bone and cartilage tissues.
